Holiday Swim Program

This program consists of 30-minute lessons conducted each day over 5 consecutive days and will help to enhance confidence whilst improving and refining swimming techniques.

Date: Monday 13th January - 17th January 2025

Cost: $60.00

Age: 3 - 12 years

Please select 'Holiday Swim Program' under enrolment type when completing our Swim Lesson Enrolment Form.

Enrolments are currently open and will close on the 6th of January.

Lakes Entrance Aquadome will also be running a program, Monday 20th January - 24th January 2025.

Learn To Swim

This program runs once a week during the school terms.

Our program is based on making learning fun while teaching water safety and swimming skills. This is achieved by using only qualified instructors teaching small groups to maximise the amount of time your child spends learning.

Adult and young adult swimming lessons

When: Tuesdays (runs with the school term)

Time: 5.15pm- 6.00pm.

No booking required

$10 per lesson –ages 14 and up.

 

How to enrol

To make any changes to your current enrolment please complete our Swim Lesson Change Form.

Who do our lessons cater for?

Lessons are available for people starting from 6 months of age.

We offer lessons for:

  • Infants (6 months – 3 years)
  • Kinder age (3 years – 5 years)
  • Primary school age
  • Secondary school age
  • Adults

Lessons for children are available at a range of times from mornings, after school and Saturday mornings.

Classes for adults can cater for the beginner to the advanced.

Other types of lessons available are one-to-one (1:1) Intensive Lessons, and during the school holidays we offer a

Participants in all classes will not only benefit from learning to swim, they will also learn water safety and survival skills.

Upon enrolment each participant is given a Log Book (handed out at the end of term). This is updated each term to keep you informed of your child’s progress.

What qualifications do our instructors have?

All of our Learn to Swim staff are qualified instructors, some hold extra qualifications e.g. Infants, Competitive Strokes, Access and Inclusion and Adults.

They also have current CPR and Level 2 First Aid as well as Police and Working with Children checks.

How much do lessons cost?

Fees

30-minute lesson: $24.30 Full Price / $20.70 Concession (fortnightly direct debit)

45-minute lesson: $29.00 Full Price / $24.70 Concession (fortnightly direct debit)

Intensive 1:1 (one-to-one): $50.00 Full Price / $42.50 Concession (pay before class)

Holiday intensive lessons: $60.00 (per week, pay before class)

Fees are payable via fortnightly direct debit system.

As part of the direct debit system:

  • Each student will be able to go to any of Council's indoor or outdoor pools all year round outside of their lessons at no extra cost.
  • Cheaper price to use the Lakes Entrance Aquadome's 'AquaRun' large inflatable on school holidays.
  • You can suspend your direct debit for up to 4 weeks over the Christmas holidays. Dates of this suspension will be available at the centre.
What if you miss a lesson?

We understand there may be circumstances that prevent you from attending a lesson.

If a lesson is missed due to illness (and you show us a medical certificate or statutory declaration) we will credit you the cost of your missed lesson.
