We want to inform you that, following the recent tender process, Stage 1 of the BARC roof upgrade will soon commence. This stage includes works over the plant room, gym, part of the reception area, and wet change rooms. These areas were identified as priorities due to their high usage and the urgent need for repairs. Stage 2 planning has commenced and will include works on the stadium roof.
To complete these essential upgrades, some areas of the facility will need to close temporarily.

Closure Dates
· Complete Facility Closure 27–28 January
· Pool Hall Closure: 29 January – 8 February
· Wet Change Rooms: 9 February – 2 March
(Alternative change rooms will be available during this period)
· Gym Closure: 2 March – 30 March
Learn to Swim - Change to Term 1 Start Date
· Term 1 Learn to Swim lessons will now begin on Monday,9 February
· All family accounts have been adjusted accordingly, and no charges will apply during this period
Membership Adjustments
· Direct debit membership costs will be adjusted to reflect the affected closure areas/periods
· Term memberships and Visit Pass expiry dates will be extended by the closure period
If you do not wish to utilise your membership during this time, you may submit a suspension form:
· In person at the front desk
· Online via our Membership Cancellation or Suspension Form
Additional Information
· Dry Group Fitness classes will continue throughout the works period. A revised timetable will be provided once finalised
· Members will still have full access to the Orbost Outdoor Pool and Lakes Entrance Aquadome facilities
