The works have now been completed for the plantroom, and the BARC team are working hard to regulate water quality and temperature of the pools. Please note that the temperatures will be slightly cooler than usual for a few days as our heating systems work to reheat our pools after this closure period.
As our contractors have been able to progress through sections faster than anticipated, we will be bringing the works in the gym forward.

Closure Dates:
All Pools will reopen 9 February as planned.
Please note the 25m Pool will be closed for public lap swimming Monday 9 February 9AM-11AM for school swimming trials

Wet Change Rooms:
9 February – 15 February
(Alternative change rooms will be available during this period)
Gym Closure:
16 February – 16 March
Full Facility Closure:
Contractors will require further closure periods to safely utilise cranes to lift materials from the roof. We will continue to work with contractors to assess times of lowest impact to our services, and communicate this with all members as soon as possible
Dry Group Fitness Classes:
Dry Group Fitness Classes will continue to run during the gym closure period. Classes will run out of the BARC stadium and Bairnsdale WORLD Sporting Precinct. Updated Group Fitness Timetables can be located at reception.
Membership Adjustments
· Direct debit membership costs will be adjusted to reflect the affected closure areas/periods
· Term memberships and Visit Pass expiry dates will be extended by the closure period
Additional Information
· Members will still have full access tothe Orbost Outdoor Pool and Lakes Entrance Aquadome facilities
If you do not wish to utilise your membership during this time, you may submit a suspension form:

· Online via our Membership Cancellation or Suspension Form
